VACCINATIONS
You should make a point of discussing
vaccination with your veterinarian. Most progressive veterinarians
will be familiar with Bengal cats, but it's always worthwhile to make
certain.
We recommend continuing to have your cat
vaccinated. Your new kitten will already have its first three
scheduled vaccinations, but rabies vaccine will come later. You should
pay attention to your local and state regulations; especially regarding
rabies vaccine. We strongly recommend asking your veterinarian for
adjuvant-free vaccines, such as Felocell, Heska or Purevax.
We also recommend NOT to administer the
FIP vaccine. The FIP vaccine has not been proven effective, and it is
controversial enough that some evidence exists that it may actually cause
FIP in some cases.
